Evolution Athletics

Evolution Athletics is a functional athletic strength and conditioning facility located in Lawrence, Kansas. We have been working with local youth, middle school, high school, college and professional athletes as well as local law enforcement for over 13 years. At Evolution Athletics we believe athletes must learn how to move well and build a “foundation” in order to best perform any athletic movement. Much like building a house, everyone must learn how to move from the ground up. We teach athletes to have a movement first approach when it comes to performance training. The better an athlete moves, the better they are likely to perform on the court or field and the less they are likely to get injured.

We build the athletic foundation through the seven fundamental movement patterns that we incorporate at Evolution Athletics (squatting, hinging, lunging, bracing, upper/lower pushing, upper/lower pulling, and sprinting).
